Holman’s journey began in 1924 with a single Ford dealership in New Jersey. Over the last century, we’ve grown into one of North America’s largest family-owned automotive organizations. To celebrate our 100th anniversary, I was honored to be part of a project that bridges our past and present—a limited-edition diecast model of the 1926 Ford Model T Depot Hack, a symbol of our roots as a Ford dealership.
We partnered with IXO, a leader in high-quality diecast models, to bring this idea to life. I worked closely with our team to ensure every detail of the original Model T was captured, from its dimensions to its unique design elements. Creating this model was more than just precision work—it was about honoring the craftsmanship and history that define Holman.
This 1:64 scale model includes thoughtful features like a sleek white acrylic base, a custom limited-edition plaque, and elegant packaging showcasing Holman’s centennial. The UV Spot finish and a personal note from our Chair, Mindy Holman, added a special touch, making each piece a true celebration of our milestone.
Distributing 10,000 units worldwide was no small feat, but it was incredibly rewarding to see this collectible reach our partners across the US, Canada, Germany, and the UK. The positive feedback has been inspiring, with many appreciating both the model’s quality and the story it tells about Holman’s legacy.
As someone passionate about car replicas, this project was a labor of love for me. It’s a tribute to Holman’s history and a symbol of our commitment to innovation as we look toward the future. I’m proud to have played a role in celebrating this milestone and sharing it with our partners around the world.
I hope you enjoy the Model T Process Book I created, detailing the process from project pitch to global distribution in celebration of our 100th Anniversary.
